Carlos Arcela comes from a Colombian family that cultivates coffee. With his experience and knowledge, when he bought the farm 32 years ago, he was able to prepare the soil, revitalize and develop the natural springs in it. He also planted bushes of beautiful colored flowers such as Heliconia and Romelia, and several indigenous trees. Now the Castillon farmhouse, surrounded by trees, looks amazing.
Carlos has been known to apply strict agricultural practices. Which contributed to the production of high-quality coffee crops.
The crop was treated with the anaerobic honeydew method. Where the coffee is fermented for up to 72 hours while preserving the viscous membrane surrounding the beans, then spread on raised beds.
